Marco Columbo is known as the explorer that "discovered" Lustria, even though it was discovered years before by the Norse. Marco was the first person from the old world to live with and establish friendly relations with the Lizardmen, not an easy task! Before the epic trip that Marco did to Lustria, he had visited Arabia as a mercenary and been part of different naval battles throughout the Arabian coast and around the port of Sartosa. Therefore, Marco was a veteran soldier. Taking part in several campaigns and was known as a Captain mercenary before his reputation as an explorer.
When he returned from Lustria with a great fortune of gold and gems, he took control of the army of his commander and he became a mercenary general and a short time later, he named himself the prince of Trantio. After he took the command of the Trantio army against rival cities on multiple occasions. Making sporadic expeditions beyond the mountains of Apuccini. He has also send many expeditions back to Lustria looking for the famous colony of Skeggi the Norseman that he finally found after years of searching. Marco is one of the many Tilean mercenary generals that not only have given orders to armies during Tilea's wars, but also in tropical distant regions against strange and unknown opponents.

Points:155
Weapons: Sword, Crossbow, Light Armour and Shield
Optional Mount: Barded warhorse.21 pts.
Crossbow Hunter: Marco is an expert hunter with a crossbow, favoring big game in his Lustrian expeditions. Marco is equipped with a crossbow that can be used while mounted. Therefore he can move and shoot while mounted. He is an excellent marksman with his crossbow, as reflected in his BS
Sailor's Telescope: Marco possesses a special telescope with great sharpness that he uses at sea. It's so strong that it can be used to detect enemy troops hidden in a regiment. Any troop or character that can usually be hidden until it's revealed, for example, Goblin Fanatics, Assassins, etc. are revealed on a 4+ at the start of the battle. Using Marco's line of sight. If the roll is successful, your opponent must reveal the number and type of hidden troop.
MAGIC ITEMS
Marco possesses three magic items. They are as follows.
Gem of Lustria: When he lived in Lustria, Marco acquired this strange gem while serving the Slaan Mage Priests as a mercenary. The gem is made out of a green polished and shaped like a snake's tongue, the mark of the Lizardmen god, Sotek.
While he carries this talisman, Marco can repeat one failed armour save roll every turn.
Gourd of Lustrian Wine: Marco always carries with him the last gourd of a zuma cactus. This is called wine in Lustria! It was given to him by the skinks during his expedition in Lustria. Even though for a Lizardman this is as innoffensive as an orange zumo, for a human, this drink is pretty strong!
A sip from this gourd at the start of his turn adds +1D6 to his strength for the remainder of the turn. It can only be used once per battle.
Parchment of Arabia: While he was looting the port of Lashick, Marco took a trip around the bazaar looking for maps. One of those maps, not interesting on first look, was written on top of an old parchment inscribed with the ancient Khemrian writing partially erased on the back.
The parchment gives Marco (but not the rest of the unit he's with) a +2 ward save against the effects of any spell. It can only be used once per turn as part of the parchment turns to dust every time it's used.
